Blakely Bering
Blakely Bering is a Houston artist whose abstract paintings and landscapes explore the relationship between movement, material, and atmosphere.
A graduate of Carnegie Mellon University with a background in theater design, she brings an understanding of scale, composition, and visual storytelling to her work.
From her ArtFarm studio, Blakely creates layered mixed media paintings for collectors and the spaces they inhabit.
An instinct for atmosphere
Fluid pigments, organic forms, and luminous surfaces give each painting a sense of movement. The work invites a moment of stillness and a lasting connection to place.
An eye for the whole space
From the intimacy of a single canvas to the presence of a monumental installation, Blakely's work considers the artwork and the environment together.
